Licensed Profession Counselor Supervisor

Owner of Serenity Wellness and Counseling Center

Tiffany Priska, Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. My journey started in education, then to clinical psychotherapy in a behavioral health hospital, and finally landing in private practice where I have grown into a business owner with a thriving practice.

I have always had a passion for helping others reach their goals and full potential. And, since 2004, it has been my privilege to walk alongside many amazing people on their own personal journey. I believe that we all are doing our best to achieve our vision. Sometimes, however, it is helpful to have a guide who can give us tools and skills to empower us and enhance our efforts. As your counselor, it will be my blessing to use my wide variety of experiences in not only a clinical setting, but also as a school counselor in Cy-Fair ISD, as a former teacher in Spring ISD, and with non-profit agencies here in Houston, I am well prepared to assist you. Life can be challenging, but you are not alone.

I believe in the power of the therapeutic process. And I understand how important the counseling relationship is for those seeking assistance to make progress. By providing a safe and non-judgmental counseling environment, I am able to help encourage and equip my clients to work through difficult life circumstances.

Because the therapy relationship is so important to me, all of my clients receive individualized treatment. I hold certifications in both Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy and use both to teach my clients the best tools to empower them to make positive changes. I also use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and art therapy techniques to help clients explore underlying emotions and belief systems in order to better understand current behavior.  Once we understand these truths, authentic healing occurs.

I really enjoy working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, self-harm, personality suicidal thoughts/desires/attempts, and those suffering with mood disorders. I have worked successfully with these clients using evidenced-based treatments to improve and eliminate symptoms. I also work well with teens and adults going through life transitions, stress, divorce, and loss.

I love what I do. I believe in my clients. I know the power to heal, make positive changes, and reach their full potential rests inside each of us. It only needs to be unlocked and explored. This drives me to continue to explore the human psyche and the world around me to continue to grow as a therapist.
