Licensed Professional Counselor

Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor

Before becoming a therapist I was a paralegal. I decided to make the switch to mental health so that I could help guide people through personal issues from within versus just on paper.

I began my journey working as a tech in substance abuse treatment. I have since also worked in case management and counselor roles serving adolescents, adults, and families. I have worked with difficult to treat cases in residential treatment, outpatient, and inpatient. My ideal client in private practice is motivated for change. I work best with anxiety disorders, life challenges, and trauma. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) while incorporating other practices as necessary.

Sadness, anxiety, resentments, regrets, and fears are all difficult to process through but in a safe and confidential environment it is possible. I provide this for my clients. Together we complete an individualized treatment plan with your goals that gives us a path to work on. Witnessing change within people through talk therapy is incredibly gratifying and know that the change is possible for you too.
